MEET THE TEAM

Huntley McBride

Co-Founder

After training at Bodens College of Creative Arts, Huntley then went onto work at various live and immersive experiences including Thorpe Park, The London Dungeon, Chessington World of Adventures, LaplandUK and Monopoly Lifesized. When not completing work for Stagespace, Huntley enjoys playing Dead by Daylight, colouring and spending time with the Stagespace HQ cat, The Lady Duchess (yes, that is her full name). After having performed in multiple am dram groups in Shrewsbury, Woking and Basingstoke, in musicals such as Carrie: the Musical, The Addams Family (Curtain Call Theatre Company), Tick, tick... BOOM! (Studio Coop) and Into the Woods (Project Theatre Company), Huntley is so excited to be part of this company that he co-founded with his best friend!

For Stagespace, Huntley directs, choreographs and does all the marketing design and social media that you see everywhere (hopefully)!

Jack Evans-Wadeson

Co-Founder

Jack graduated from Trinity Laban Music & Dance in 2024 on the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre course. Since graduating he has worked over multiple sites professionally, including beheading traitors at The London Dungeon and becoming best friends with Shrek at Shrek’s Adventure! London.

Carrie: the Musical marked Jack’s first directorial credit and he has enjoyed assistant directing such an iconic story. If you thought the direction was tolerable, come and watch ‘The Addams Family’ in November!

Jack's previous roles in musical theatre include Ensemble in Shrek: The Musical (Trinity Laban), Francis Wier in Loserville (Trinity Laban), Ensemble in 9 to 5 (Trinity Laban) and Evan Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen (StudioCoop).

For Stagespace, Jack can be found directing, completing admin tasks and being a QLab Wizard!

WHY STC?

You may be wondering, why is Stagespace different? What do you offer?

We have also developed something called

.

.

Push the boundaries of what amateur theatre can do

.

Foster an inclusive environment

Create innovative theatre and opportunities

Support and nurture the talent that we have

We aim to:

safeSPACE

which is how we can support our performers, crew and supporters while they are a part of our company.

With this, we:
- Help to manage expectations from company to cast
- Offer development through the process
- Ensure that we are supporting you
- Help each other out when things don't go right
- Allow you to help shape the future of the company with us

Should you decide to join us for one of our future productions, you will have what we call 'touchpoints' with a member of the creative team at the start, middle and end of the process so that we can support your development, receive any feedback and ask for your suggestions to develop our future!

This is what we like to think separates us from other societies... and we hope that you would agree if you chose to join us in the future.
